(Parlé:)

It starts with a dog
Lives down the Okefenokee Swamp

Spend his half a yard chasing raccoon, groundhog, and cottonmouth and moccasins
To one day he caught one

This dog was so black, he was almost blue
And that what it's master called him, he called him "Old Blue"

Him and I and Old Blue's master come out in the back porch
He cupped his hands 'round his mouth and howls out "Old Blue"

Old Blue's big ears come perking up become pounded across the wet "saug",
to a degree, big ears flying in the breeze

Big paws upon 'round the wet soil
Big tongue all hanging out the ground

As Tomy jump up in the back porch, knock you down, step in you eyes,
Legs all over, put his legs into his friskies

Knock you off the bacon soup, bitten you, clawed you, jumped up in your back,
bitten your ear off

Track maneuvers all over in the kitchen
